What Is a Partial Hospitalization Program?
A partial hospitalization program is a structured treatment option that provides intensive care during the day, while allowing clients to return home—or to a sober living environment—each evening. PHP bridges the gap between inpatient treatment and more flexible outpatient care, offering a strong foundation for lasting recovery.
Typically, clients participating in PHP engage in six to eight hours of treatment, five days a week. This schedule combines therapy, skill-building, and medical supervision, allowing people to address the root causes of addiction while developing strategies for long-term success.
Our PHP is ideal for those who need a high level of treatment without the 24-hour supervision of residential care. It’s also a great step for those transitioning from an inpatient setting who need continued support to maintain their progress.
