I can not even find all of the right words to describe Discover Recovery Prune Hill. Plainly stated, this is not my first time in recovery. I have personally and professionally seen many different rehabilitation centers and multiple treatment modalities. Discover Recovery was SO completely different than anything else I had seen or experienced. When they say holistic, it is no joke. Camas I was 37 years old and struggling heavily with alcohol addiction. For years, I had refused treatment or any kind of help. When I arrived at Camas, I didn’t know what to expect. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted warmly by one of the techs, who immediately eased a lot of my anxiety. I was shown to a detox room that was comfortable and welcoming, and the cooks, nurses, and techs made the detox process as easy and comfortable as possible. During my 30-day stay, there were numerous group sessions led by knowledgeable counselors, as well as opportunities for one-on-one counseling. This location turned my life around, significantly. Their program is unlike any I have been to before, and focuses heavily on individual counseling for both mental health and for substance use. There are regular groups as well, all of which focus on aspects of recovery. Many focus on aspects of recovery beyond just discussing substance use topics, like groups focused on body movement and physiology that play into things like the flight or fright system, something not everyone but many people struggle with in their use and early recovery. My point is, their program is very well rounded, and while they do have the occasional 12-step thing (mostly outings to area meetings) their program doesn't focus solely on "read the Big Book". From day one I put into Discovery Recovery what I needed to get out of this awesome source of recovery and sobriety. The team of counselors, Techs, therapist's, out reach,: clinical, these employees of Discovery Recovery really do care about everyone that walks through those doors? The house manager's are on top of their game. A van transports clients to the Center, and back to apartment, or housing. They provide lunch catered every day. I put Discovery Recovery in my top 5 treatment places I've been to? 6 stars Excellent quality and they really do care? I recommend this place to family and friends ❤️

I have loved this place and the staff here. What I think makes this place different is that they really care about each individual and are open to feedback and change for the better of everyone. The groups are both fun and also informative, I really like that some of are unique and have pushed outside of my comfort zone. Overall it’s really helped me grow in ways that I wasn’t expecting. It feels homey at the center, I always walk in feeling comfortable and happy to see the staff! The owner is also present here and frequently checks in onto the growth of clients.

This is hands down the best rehabilitation and recovery place in all of Washington state!!!! I went through their program and they not only gave me the tools to fight my alcoholism but they also focused on me as a person and my life. They helped me to identify the "Why?" I was drinking through outstanding counselors and very informative group sessions. I was able to identify and make plans to correct the areas of my life that either directly or indirectly affected my ability to stay sober. All of the staff are very friendly, understanding, caring, and knowledgeable people. I chose DR from the top of a Google search, but I’m so glad I went there for treatment. From the moment I first called, every person I encountered who was employed by DR was caring, understanding and helpful. The room was one that had been remodeled and it was like a very nice hotel room. The chef cooked yummy meals, I even got to pick out sloppy joes for a meal before I graduated. The classes and counseling are educational and enlightening. You have an addiction counselor and a mental health counselor, along with the Dr and all the lovely nurses, front desk staff, and management. Everyone is cheering you on.
